Have you ever had more than one Monday in a week?
Just lately I've had several moments when I've found myself saying, "I'm having another Monday." For instance, when my washer decided to give up the ghost mid-cycle, I knew I was having a Monday.
And when Jet's school pictures came back and it looked like he had red hair (the child is blond), I knew I was having a Monday. Yes, I know his hair is long and sticking up in random places. He has definite ideas about his "style" at the moment.
But does anyone else think it looks orangish?
Oh, and then I went PF Chang's for lunch with my friend and when the fortune cookies came at the end of the meal...I broke open the cookie and ...
No Fortune For Me.
Sure enough, I was having another Monday.
It's easy to let the Mondays get you down. But you have to learn to think positive. Or so I've heard.
So when my washer died, I thought, "Better the washer than the car". And when the school pictures came back I told myself, "At least it's just red hair and not a nose ring." As for the fortune cookie, that was just sad.
But when I looked up just in time to catch my blond/red headed son doing this...
I thought, "Yep, another Monday.
And at least it's not a drinking fountain!!!"
I guess I just wanted to get a few words in before this week started and those words are...
Bring on the Mondays! I'm ready!!

HAHAHAHA! Okay, seriously . . the boy is definately his father's son (and I'm not talking about his looks, hair or otherwise). For me, that picture was a great way to start a dreaded Monday.

Oh my heavens.... Jet is adorable no matter what his hair color is. Now for peeing in the pond my kids have done that more times then I dare admit. Its such a boy thing. As for the fortune I think you dont need any advice you are already great!

Truly, I think that every Monday should be a holiday...since like you say, manic days happen all too often :) But hahaha...I never would have believed Jet would do that if it weren't for the picture! Too hilarious ;)
