The Terrific Trio with Tag-a-longs

Call it fate, call it being blessed. What ever you want, but I am so thankful for two wonderful ladies that came into my life when I really needed support. They have been by my side, listening to my troubles and keeping me laughing for a couple of years now. (Shell and Annie, this one's for you!)

Maybe you know them and maybe you don't. But I promise that your life would be brighter with these two in it. ~This sounds like a great place to insert a picture of them, you know, the bright eyed smiling, kind of pictures. But I am going to spare them and pick on The Boys instead.

We are especially lucky because our husbands are all really great friends too. And our sons play together like brothers whenever we hang out. Last year, the three oldest boys each turned eight and were baptized. It was a humbling experience for me each time I watched our Terrific Trio, wearing suits and ties, surround each boy as he was confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Sometimes I think our Terrific Trio are more like the Three Stooges or the Three Amigos. They are usually scheming some sort of boys night. And they are always telling jokes and laughing. But it's really great to see how well rounded they are. They support one another when times are tough. They go to the general priesthood meetings together. They have very different personalities and it just works.

When Brady is out of the country, I always feel better knowing I could make a call and have two priesthood holders in my home if I needed them.

If I have learned one thing about myself, it is that I really need friends. I need to talk and interact with other people. Most especially with people who are willing to look past my flaws and accept me. And that is why I love Shell and Annie. (And the Terrific Trio too!)
