Team Jacob

A big thanks to Rachel for the tickets to the early viewing of NEW MOON!!
(We went a couple of weeks ago, I'm just a little late posting it.)

It was fun to surprise Lexa! I actually enjoyed the drive to Gateway more than the movie. Why is that? Because Lexa talked nonstop the entire time. Here are a few of the things I remember:

"Mom, you aren't a regular mom. You are more like a kid because I can tell you anything!"

"So, what team are you on? Team Jacob or Team Edward? You can't say Team Brady."

"What do you do if a blond throws a grenade at you?"

"Pull the pin out and throw it back to her."

"Gosh, Jesus is like the coolest person I know. Well, except for maybe Heavenly Father."

"I think that guy we just passed was picking his nose!"

"Jet is so cute. Sometimes I sneak in to watch him playing the cello before school starts. I just like to listen and watch. Don't tell him, OK?"

We met my girlfriends at the California Pizza Kitchen and then headed over to the theater. Lexa loved hanging out with "the girls." I usually leave the kiddos at home when I rendezvous with the Ya Yas. The movie was great! Much better than the first one. It was full of bisceps and such. I'm sure you've seen it so I won't go into detail.

I cannot believe how grown up Lexa is becoming! I love those comments she made. I seriously hope I have that kind of relationship with my daughter someday. You're such an awesome mom!
