Adopt -A- ROCKER

OK, we didn't actually adopt him...but he sure looked like he had been neglected since the 1980's & needed a new home in this century! We thought he was AWESOME.


On Tuesday, Shell and I tagged along as Brady and Chad lived out one of their dreams...
The Def Leppard - Poison Concert. You would not believe how excited the guys were.

We immediately realized that we were out of our element. I think people dressed up for it but who knows, maybe they dress like that all of the time. (Absolutely mesmerizing!)

I almost kicked myself for forgetting to rat my bangs. Plus, I left my leopard-print leggings and leather slouch boots at home.

Poor Shell was disappointed that because she forgot to put her hair up into a side pony tail.

The whole time I kept thinking that Brady needed to grow out his old mullet to fit in. And if my calculations are correct, Chad has the ideal hair to grow out into one of those long, shaggy, rocker looks.


The guys sang along to every word of every song. (I knew the chorus to some of the songs.) But overall, I'd say that I'll leave the rockers to do the rocking...

And I'll stay here in 2009.
