These long-legged ladies tied for 2nd place in the annual Monroe Milk Run last summer!
We were spending the 24th of July weekend with Brady's parents. I wish I had a picture of them with their Grandma. She was so proud of them.
I have to admit that I was still asleep as they soared across the finish line. It was an early morning race. Brady was entering the 5 mile run and I'm pretty sure that is what inspired Lexa to run in the children's race. Cherish saved the day and bought the girls matching shoes that morning because neither one of them brought any running shoes on the trip. They had only decided to run the night before.
Lexa and her cousin are a year apart. People have asked me if they are twins. I love it when that happens because Brady and his sister are both adopted. The girls aren't even blood-related but they look like sisters!!! (I believe that is what we Mormons call a tender mercy!)
Thanks, Kellie, for tagging me!
I know you are curious so consider yourself tagged! Find the 4th picture in the 4th file of your picture folder and post it on your blog!
