Olympic Dreams...

We've been enjoying the OLYMPIC GAMES! They are amazing. It was good to see that our kids loved them too. http://www.olympic.org/ Last night, after dinner, AJ asked if she could watch some of the Olympics. I said sure and pretty soon she was glued to the TV giggling. I didn't think much of the giggling. It happens a lot lately.

I helped JDC into a much needed bath and then cleaned up after dinner. Pretty soon, JDC heard the giggling and got out of the bath. He didn't want to be left out. After he joined his sister there were a lot of exciting words coming from the couch. "Wow!" "Holy Cow!" Then they would both burst into laughter.

My curiosity got the best of me, "What sport are you guys watching?"

"Oh, this is the one with the big balls!"

Big balls? What event could that be? I decided I needed to see this for myself and when I sat down on the couch I realized that they hadn't been tuned into the Olympic games but they were watching the game show WipeOut on ABC! At that moment of realization, JDC turned to me and said, "Mom, I really want to be in the Olympics someday!" Then AJ said, "Oh yeah! Me too!"

Well, they probably won't make it to the Olympics but an appearance on WipeOut might be in our future! http://abc.com/primetime/wipeout/
