I'm amazed at how much alike Lexa and my best friend, Janis, are.

A couple of weeks ago, I was up helping Janis with a remodeling project. We saw this hat in the store and I was telling her how Lexa loves hats. In fact, she had been asking me to buy her one every time we went shopping. (I kept putting her off because with just 2 kids, it's easy to buy them everything they want.)
Janis was delighted to hear about Lexa's newest fashion interest and said,
"I'll buy it for her! I used to have a pink one just like it!! My mother hated it."
You can imagine how excited Lexa was. She is the only person I know who gets all dressed up to watch TV.

that hat is AWESOME!!! so i must ask, do you like the hate or HATE it?! I think it's cute.
