A typical night out for our family...
We decide to go to dinner. After all, Friday night is DATE NIGHT and once you have kids, that often becomes a family affair. We head to dinner and that's when it suddenly happens. Jet transforms into this:
We aren't sure why but we usually end up with one sad/mad kid (above) and one happy kid (below).
You never know which kid will be the one to be bitten by the GRuMPy BuG.
~I sure hope this happens in other families too.~
Mom has a revelation and orders breadsticks for everyone before the waitress passes out the menus.
Dad tells and few jokes and when that doesn't work, well he resorts to desperate measures.
The food comes and the happy kids gets even happier.
Unhappy kid cracks a smile!
And pretty soon, the GRuMPy BuG has been banished!
With that finally cleared up we went to see the movie SHORTS. Pretty funny Movie.

How fun! Ethan is just like him. We go out and he is ornery till we get the food. YAY for family night out. And if you and BJ want to go out let me know we would LOVE to have your kids over. Even maybe we would allow J to sleep over.
Cute post. Hopefully my kids will be more fun to take out as they get older. Right now we just avoid it as much as possible. Too many meltdowns (usually on MOM'S part.)
