Here are some pics from our trip to Cali.
There was a 50 pic limit for the slide show but believe me, I have many more than that! We spent a day at Sea World, 2 days at LegoLand and we also went to the beach. We hit Vegas on the way home and couldn't resist the M&M factory!

A little while after we checked into our room, Jet came up to me and said, "I've got some bad news...I have looked everywhere in our hotel room and there aren't any mouse holes anywhere." It took me a minute to realize he was expecting to meet Runaway Ralph from Beverly Cleary's popular book series.
We had to stop at a store for my allergy medicine. Near the entrance, Lexa found a payphone. She was amazed. "Mom, why would you put a phone outside? And look, it has a cord on it." (Who ever heard of a phone with a cord?) Pretty soon she and the girls were punching in random numbers and chatting away to no one in particular. For the record: I remember my YW leaders telling us to keep a quarter in our pocket so we could call home if we didn't feel comfortable while out on a date. I guess Lexa will probably just text me if that ever happens to her.

It was fun to have my sister and her girls with us. I'll never forget watching a huge wave from the Atlantis ride at Sea World sweep over the front of the car and drench Jet and Maddie. They were little dare devils on this trip. They insisted on sitting in the front every time we went on a roller coaster. Brookie and Lexa won the award for screaming the loudest. In fact, on one of the rides, we pulled up to the gate and the guy running it said they were so loud that he sent us again. Of course, they screamed even louder the second time.
I saved this great picture for last. I liked it so much that I paid a ridiculous amount of money for it. Jet told me later that Aunt Bev had given him some roller coaster wisdom. Open your mouth as your car is climbing the big hill because if you don't open it before you drop, you won't be able to open it while you are on the rest of the ride. He was still thinking about it when we plummeted and she was right, he couldn't open his mouth. Hilarious.

Oh that was so much fun! We will have to make sure we plan fun trips or campout something every year. I hope where ever we end up doing it will still be close to Utah. I told mom told she was telling me wehave to do whats best for our family. I was glad she was not up set. Wes told me we might beable to stay where we are that would be nice. Such cute pictures! We want to take that same trip as a family someday. We've never even been on a family vacation! Hopefully someday soon!
