I guess it all started last night when I took a shower and used some hair reconstructer. I was tired and went to bed with my hair wet. I do this sometimes and it never causes too much of a problem. But this was a completely different story!
When I finally got up and stumbled toward the bathroom to get ready for church, Brady started laughing.
He was staring at my hair.
I looked in the mirror & couldn't believe my eyes.
My hair was huge!
It was standing about four inches up off my head. I could have pulled off an 80's hairstyle in seconds. I know you are tempted to scroll down this post looking for a picture. Well, there isn't one!!!
One glance at the clock told me that I didn't have time to rewash it. I tried spraying the roots down with water. The bangs settled down but I had no luck at all with the hair around the crown of my head.
I had a rooster tail!
Feeling defeated, I twisted pieces of it into bobby pins, hoping that nobody at church would notice it sticking up.
Note to Self:
Do not go to bed with wet, reconstructed hair on a Saturday night.
And do not sleep in on Sunday morning!
As I was working to tame my wild mane, I remembered a post that a friend of mine had on his blog. It was so funny, all about the Utah Hair Bump. Well, Dallin, if you're out there, I had a hair bump this morning and it was 100% natural! I could have bumped with the best of them!
By the way, my hair is really soft from the reconstructer.
It is also VOLUMIZED!
