This new tween stage is so much fun! My girl is really into toenail polish lately. I'm a big fan of pretty toes myself. The truth is that I keep my toenails painted to dress up my not so lovely feet. I have always had short toes to go along with my short pudgy feet but Lexa has long skinny toes. Lucky, lucky, lucky.
Last night we had a little girl bonding time and Lexa chose the colors for our toenail makeovers. Just for the record, we have 34 bottles of polish. I threw a bunch out because it was getting gooey. We used to have 51.
Lexa is modeling the shiny white and lavender polish with red accents and I have on pink, pink sparkle and gold sparkle. My toes look a lot like the glitter Easter eggs we made this spring. I wonder how long it will take me to get the polish off when it's time for our next totally toe extravaganza.

What fun mother-daughter time!
I love having painted toenails too! It just makes your feet look so much better. I love your designs, did you do them yourself?
I haven't been a big fan of polish till I had Danni. Now her and I will paint our toes all the time. We should get together and do one. It would be totally fun.
CUTE TOES! I'm the same way, MJ - have to paint my toes to distract from other imperfections with my feet.
Good luck with that sparkle polish! - I don't touch the stuff myself.
Sounds so fun. I love doing girl things with Ali.
